Nero - Update 1

I was going to call this the Zero Day Update, but since we have not taken a zero yet, and I have some time now, I will post a quick update here.

I have been able to update my Trail Journal with a day-to-day, so if you want more of that, head over there.

We have hiked 273.4 miles and are still having a great time. Nothing on our bodies is broken yet, but we are sore every day as is expected.

So, as I mentioned, we haven't taken a zero day yet (a day where we hike zero miles), but we have taken a few Neros, which are low mileage days.  We try to plan them for days when we head into town. That way, we clean up, resupply, rest and are ready to hike again the next day.

In the world of the Matrix (Other World), if you work for 26 days straight, you are considered a workaholic, here on the trail, it's just what we do.

I like to think of this Quest as a Walking Vacation.  We walk from one destination to the next.  The walking part is the work.  Just like at work, we take our breaks and lunches, but we never take them in the same place twice.

So we continue on.  We have gone far, but still have many miles to go.

Keep checking my Trail Journal and Facebook. Those are the easiest places to update.

The Quest continues.  May we be found worthy.
